College Name Change
UIUC College of ALS Becomes College of AHS
With the approval of the University of Illinois Board of Trustees, we are pleased to announce that the College of Applied Life Studies has changed its name to the College of Applied Health Sciences. Although our programs of study have not changed, this new name better reflects the 50-year evolution by all departments toward improving health and enhancing our quality of life through research, education, and public outreach programs. College faculty are leading national efforts addressing healthy aging across the lifespan and full participation by people with disabilities. Ranked nationally in the top 10, academic units and programs of study include:
