File Attachment Tutorial
Here are two different ways to attach files to an email:
- If you have Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express installed on your computer, when you click on Kathy Runck on the previous page, it should open up the email client automatically on a PC. You will have to attach any files as you would to a normal email message.
- If you do not have the above email clients, you can use CITES Express email. If you use this option, follow the directions below.
After you login to CITES Express Email, compose a new message. You will see the following screen:
At the bottom of the screen, you should see a section under the "Attachments" header. Click on the "Browse..." button to find your file. After you select your file and click "Open" you will see the file path in the input box on your email screen. Click Add.
The file will now be attached to the email message. Make sure you add the receiver's email in the "To" field, add a subject, and message.
Once you complete your message, click Send.
If you have problems accessing CITES Express Email, or difficulty in composing a new message, please view CITES email help or contact CITES Help Desk.
