Alumni Speaker Series
AHS hosts an on-going alumni-student program entitled the “Alumni Speakers Series”. This program is open to all AHS students interested in learning about opportunities in our fields and in talking with AHS alums and related professionals.
The program will be held monthly and will feature a panel of alumni speakers, with topics ranging from business etiquette, health professions, not-for-profit, networking, entrepreneurship and leadership. The lectures will cross all disciplines in our College, providing students with valuable real-world advice as they embark on their careers.

AHS Mom's Day Brunch
During Mom's Day Weekend, the College of AHS invites all students and their parents to join the Dean's Office staff and academic advisors for an informative program about the college and departments. A light brunch is served, along with the opportunity to learn more about AHS and the opportunities for our undergraduate students, and ask any questions that you may have! Reservations are required and a mailing is sent home prior to the event.
Fall Welcome
AHS welcomes all new students to campus each Fall with a new student welcome. The welcome is typically held in Huff Hall, and is an opportunity to meet other student sin AHS, reconnect with your advisor and learn about the different student organizations within AHS. Ice cream and prizes highlight the social event for all new students!
